What is Connecticon: The Musical? Connecticon: The Musical is an original show that is comprised of songs from popular music and show tunes, featuring characters from popular Anime, games and shows.

How did Connecticon: The Musical start? The musical was originally conceived by a Connecticon staff member, Brittany Davis, who organized a group of volunteer performers in 2006. These performers assumed directorial control of the musical when Brittany fell ill and in 2007 formed themselves into a group now known as “The Connecticon Players.”

What other websites can I join for more information on the musical? There is also an open Facebook group under the title of Connecticon: The Musical as well as additional forums attached to the official website. Know that, though, this is the offical website for the musical.

Does the show cost money to attend? The show will not cost any money to attend. A basic registration to Connecticon 2008 will grant you free access to the show. For more information on Connecticon registration fees, click here

Can we audition for a role if we live out of state? Yes, you can audition, but please bear in mind that you will be required to attend certain mandatory rehearsals.

Can females audition for males and vice versa? Yes, as long as they can reach the vocal range required for that character. Additionally, females will be required to bind and males would be required to pad.

Will there be doubling roles? There will be doubling only in certain ensemble. Additionally, we will be casting understudies from certain ensemble members.

Will there be cuts? Unfortunately, due to enormous interest in auditions, we will be forced to make cuts so that the ensemble remains at a workable size. If you do not make the cast list, you may NOT re-audition. However, there will be plenty of open spaces on tech crew. Please don't take it personally!

Can we make additions to the script? No, due to time constraints there will be no new additions to the script.
