Reiki has always been in my future although I knew nothing about it, never read about Reiki or never ever experienced Reiki. One day after reading the description of Reiki in a pamphlet, I knew this was the time for me to study Reiki. After contacting St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in search of a Reiki trainer, I was referred to Barbara Fasulo, a certified energy therapist and Reiki Master who teaches classes for the hospital. Now, as a certified Reiki Master/Trainer, I believe Reiki is my calling. Having the gift to heal others has immensely enriched my life.

After having several jobs in manufacturing sales and losing them to downsizing both in Connecticut and my native Massachusetts, I knew it was time for a change and to do what makes my heart sing. This change includes working with and helping others reach a goal; relieve another person’s inner pain from their past, present and future; and provide relief from stress, tension, discomfort and sometimes physical pain. Reiki has given my life new meaning and to tap into – the gift—to heal others.

I studied Karuna Reiki® under the founder, William Lee Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training. This was the most powerful healing and spiritual experience I have ever encountered. Karuna Reiki energy is powerful yet heals gently.

In my practice, at the Senior Center in Glastonbury and St. Francis Hospital has benefited people suffering from old age, relief to cancer suffers, relief for serious skin conditions, head pressure and other maladies.

For me, Reiki is all about healing and viewing life with a different perspective – taking time to notice the birds chirping. I look forward to discussing Reiki with you.
